I have spent most of the week doing a mixture of consulting, training, technical advice and research. The one thing i have not done much of is media planning and buying or even taking briefs for the team to plan/buy.
Now i am not complaining it is paid for work for our lovely clients - but its the sort of period that has made me contemplate again about where the value lies in what we do - what will be the business model be in 3-5 years and what will be the key services that clients buy from us.
Candidate attraction and the recruitment process lie at the heart of what we do but will that be too generic going forward - will we have to change our name to OnlineExperts, MediaExperts or just Experts (tagline "we are just great at everything!")
Anyway enough of the naval gazing - i have to book a job posting and change a job title in the back office....
